Antique Sideboard- change it to give it a modern look
Every bedroom of every household will have a sideboard beside the bed or in a corner space of the room. The sideboard is the ultimate storage place for everyday use. If your antique sideboard has a handle missing, or broken, and you are thinking to change it, and then change it. Why not give it a trendy yet vintage look by changing the old handles with sparkly glass knobs? You do not have to be an expert to do it. You can just do it yourself.
Regardless of whether you have an old sideboard, always remember that this old piece can look as new as you need by changing a couple of components. All it takes is another shading of paint on it or a couple of changes in the doorknobs.

Step 1: Drill the holes again to give it a good finish.
Step 2: Fill any holes left by old hardware with wood putty, and paint that area.
Step 3: Attach the new glass knobs with screws.

Can’t find the right things at the right time from your sideboard? Well it is a daily hassle for people who are not organized like me. Well, there is a simple solution, just do it once, and you will feel like an organizing guru. Trust me.
Some tips to do that:
First, you need to remove all the things from your sideboard. You will find many things that do not belong inside the sideboard, so get rid of those.
Make classes for those things that you will return to the sideboard, and allot them to particular drawers.
Buy some extra dividers for your sideboards, to keep things organized. Remember to take all necessary measurements (interior and exterior) before heading to the store.
